Vilija Paulius, MA, LMHC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (she/her)
Vilija believes that therapy is a space where real change begins - with compassion, understanding, and practical tools for growth. She recognizes that each person’s story is unique, shaped by past experiences and present challenges, and she is committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel understood and empowered.
Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic approaches, Vilija helps clients explore how their past experiences influence their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, you’ll uncover the patterns that shape your life and develop personalized strategies to create meaningful change. Her approach is both insight-oriented and skills-based, providing practical tools and techniques that strengthen your confidence and resilience beyond the therapy room.
Vilija is passionate about supporting clients through the complexities of anxiety, OCD, trauma, and the ups and downs of relationships and family dynamics, offering guidance and care during life’s most challenging moments. She understands that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but believes that every step you take is a step toward creating positive change and healing.
Her ultimate goal is to help clients feel whole and empowered again, equipped with the skills to navigate life’s inevitable challenges, strengthen relationships, and create a more balanced and fulfilling life.
