Samantha Sundborg, MSW
Therapist | LMSW Candidate
Samantha believes therapy is a space to rebuild our most important relationship — the one with ourselves. Her work centers on self-discovery, helping clients learn to understand and love all parts of who they are. She guides clients toward deeper self-awareness and lasting emotional growth through curiosity, compassion, and collaboration.
Using an Integrative Approach grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Samantha supports clients in exploring how their past experiences, emotions, and beliefs influence their present lives. She also draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to provide practical tools for emotional regulation, communication, and self-compassion. Her approach blends insight and skill-building, helping clients develop strategies they can use both in and outside therapy.
Samantha works primarily with older teens and young adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, identity development, and the impact of trauma. She helps clients understand how emotional pain is held in both the mind and body, unburdening the parts that carry old wounds so they can move toward healing and wholeness.
Her goal is to help clients connect to their authentic Self — the calm, compassionate, and wise part of who they are — and feel empowered to make choices aligned with their values.
