Therapy Is a Bold Investment in You

Beginning therapy is more than a checkmark on a to-do list. It’s a choice to prioritize your mental and emotional health, to show up for yourself, and to commit to the messy, meaningful work of growth. At Resilience Therapy, we want you to know exactly what to expect, especially when it comes to how we operate.

We’re an out-of-network practice, which means we aren’t tied to the red tape of insurance restrictions. That gives us the freedom to focus on you—not a diagnosis code or a billing cycle.

How Out-of-Network Care Works

We don’t bill insurance directly, but we do make it easier for you to use your benefits if you have them. After each month, we provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

We also use a quick, user-friendly tool called Reimbursify (see the button on the bottom left of this page!) to help you estimate what your specific plan might cover. Many clients get between 50% and 80% back, depending on their insurance provider and plan details.

Why We Don’t Take Insurance

Here’s why we’ve chosen to stay out-of-network—it gives us the freedom to show up for you in the way therapy is meantto work:

  • No treatment limitations: We build your care around your needs, not insurance checklists or quotas.

  • More time for your actual healing: Less time chasing down claims means more focus on you.

  • Protecting your privacy: Insurance often requires sharing diagnoses and session notes. Working privately means your information stays between you and your therapist.

This Is Your Space to Heal—On Your Terms

We know it takes courage to start therapy. Choosing to work with a private-pay therapist is one way to make sure the care you receive is built with intention, not shaped by bureaucracy.

If you’re ready to begin, we’re here to walk with you. You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
